Sunday Assembly Reading - Satellites
Someone’s watching you right now! You’re having doubts about that little camera in your device is truly switched off .... But this month at the Sunday Assembly we are talking about looking out for you, rather than looking at you
Time & Location
17 Jun 2018, 10:45
Sunday Assembly Reading, 93 Chatham Street, Reading, UK
About The Event
We are thrilled to have our very own Keegan Neave (Satellite Applications Catapult) explaining one of his passions. Tell us Keegan!
“Satellites are all around us and though we typically can't see them, they are always in the background providing essential services and data to help us on Earth. Two unusual examples are tracking illegal fishing at sea and monitoring the environmental impact of open cast mining, I'll be explaining how and why satellites are invaluable for these tasks.”
Then add some great songs, sung with The Word Of Bob, and all the other fun things that make a Sunday Assembly.
Doors open at 30 mins before the Assembly starting. The best way to meet new people is to come early.
