The Sunday Alternative is an inclusive secular community that meets regularly to celebrate life

An Assembly is singing great pop and rock songs, a reading, a TEDx style talk and lots of fun. All followed by tea, cake and a chat. An ideal way to meet new people in a friendly and nonjudgmental environment.

Beyond the monthly Assembly, there are plenty of occasions to socialise within a variety of settings around a diverse range of activities. The monthly Coffee Mornings are very popular - 2nd Sunday of the month.

Helping your local and world community is one of the roads to personal happiness. We organise a spectrum of Help Often opportunities, ranging from the practical to the financial.

Typically, Assemblies are on the 4th Sunday of each month, starting at 11 am, but doors open for coffee and socialising at 10:30 am.
Assemblies end at about 12:15, after which people stay for homemade cakes etc and to chat.

Then it's to a local pub or a picnic if the weather is good. Get the full list of upcoming Assemblies and other events here.
